I was lucky enough to have my business pitch chosen for a 6 months of mentoring and development workshops in a Dragons Den style scheme run for start-up businesses in the West Midlands for IL Futures, leading me to collaborate with F7 lux.
This introduced me to Birmingham Made Me, where a handful of entrepreneurs were chosen to have their work displayed in the Birmingham Made Me shop in the Mailbox, Birmingham.
Originally from Ashbourne, England studying, Double Award Art A Level at Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School, where I had a lot of support and encouragement. I studied Visual Communication, Photography, and Graphic Design specialising in Illustration at Birmingham Institute of Art and Design in 2008.
I developed and formed SIT ON MY FACE for my final year exhibition. This allowed me to experiment with my love of portraiture. This project earned me a nomination for the Young Pioneer Award at the Dave McKean Awards for We Grow Cherries at BIAD.
I currently work and live in London, producing all my work from my home studio. As well as working for Pansophia Business Innovation CiC helping start up businesses develop their ideas. I specialise in pencil portraiture and I have been working professionally since 2011, offering portraits and individual printed fabric products for your home.
I produce portraits, personalised cushions and furnishings, giving you the opportunity to be involved in the creation of your own products so that they suit your home.
The pencil portraits capture the photograph and bring it to life, producing stylised artwork for your home. If you’re creating very own unique piece as a gift, you can keep the original artwork for yourself.
I offer multiple products which allow you to have your own input into the design process. This is a unique present to share, with impact, standing out as a great conversation piece for your home.
